Trent Haines-Hopper

I started taking photos way back when I was about 8 years old and got my first camera, a Kodak Hawkeye Pocket Instamatic Camera.  I found it not too long ago, tucked away in some of my father's boxes as he was cleaning out a closet.  Those first photos weren't all that good, but I found that I enjoyed taking pictures of people and what they were doing.

Fast forward to my teen years when I got my first "real" camera, a Pentax K1000.  I had no idea what I was doing with those lenses, but I remember being drawn to capturing images of other people as they went about their lives.

Now that I'm a professional photographer, I still love taking photos of people.  I find that the personal connections I make with someone, whether it's for a few minutes or a few hours, are some of my most rewarding, favorite moments of my day.

When we shoot together, my goal is to have fun and get great images.  Most of my clients, especially those who are camera shy, tell me they had a great time and really appreciate the relaxed setting I create during the shoot.

The thing I like most about photography is getting to know my clients and making great images with them.  We have so much fun, it hardly seems like work at all.
